Wedding Showcase!

So this last wknd I finally feel like I am getting stuff done and people are getting into it with me to plan this wedding and make it happen! On Sat. I went to the big bridal fair with my mom and my two sisters! I already have the reception center, the dj, the videographer, the photographer, and most of our decorations but we still had alot of fun going and seeing whats the newest and hottest! Here are a few fun pictures!

This is a bouquet that I liked! But I still have my own idea for one! ;)

I loved this booth it was done up really cute for photography....

Fun cakes! Interesting ideas people have!

Now I really LOVED this booth and this photographers work! He is a great photographer! Sometimes its hard to choose ... but a photo is a photo right? HAha

I love these big tall centerpieces that go over the whole table! Beautiful! Gotta love Tai Pan! You find everything there ;)

The next evening I met with my mom and sister's and Zeke again to really plan this out and get the ideas put together and deligate the jobs! I am so overwhelmed and stressed but I am so lucky to have my siblings just take care of most of the reception, decorations and setup! They are doing it all! It is going to turn out awesome, I am so excited and cant wait to see it! Its nice to know that they have their check off lists of lil jobs they are in charge of! Yesterday we went up to The Ledges Golf course and drew everything out! Weddings are crazy!

Wknd on the road!!

This weekend I was able to travel up to Salt Lake to watch Chandlers games against SLCC and SNOW. Unfortunately the outcome of Fri nights game againt SLCC was not what we wanted! SLCC Led the whole game from 17 to 2 point and in between. CEU was down 9 points with 10 min left in the game. Then with 6 min left in the game Chandler gets a 3pt shot up with leaving SLCC with only a 1pt lead. Chandler led the team with 16 pts. There were of course, some questionable official calls...what can ya do? Chan played the majority of the game. He had some awesome shots! We love those 3 pointerz! (More action shots to come of these shots, Thanks to Dan and Steph) He played so tough! I love watching him give it his all. Poor guy plays hard and continues to do his best even when his body is sore... Final score CEU 67- SLCC 72

Chan had alot of family and friend support in SLC! Chan had his parents, grandma Bea, Aunt, Uncle, cousins, siblings, more cousins, and close friends. I had 15 people from my family come out too, to watch him play! It was great to see everyone! We had an awesome group. Thank you so much for coming to his game!

Here are a few of my cousins: Cody, the twins: Luke and Stephen!! They Cheered for Chan!!

Here's Lukey looking a bit concerned on the game ;)

My sister Desiree, her husband, Zeke, and his bro and his wife came out too!! (a few of Chans fam in the back as well, Cousin Ash, Aunt Gaylene)

And here we have my cousin Chris and Kayla, and Kim, holding Drew and Olivia

Now Sat nights game against Snow in Ephriam was I-N-T-E-N-S-E!! SNOW started out with a 7pt lead. CEU came around and tied 7-7. Chan hits his first 3pt-er giving us the lead 15-13. At half-time it was Snow 36- to Ceu 33. In the 2nd half Snow was in a lil bit of foul trouble with 11 min left. CEU came back up strong. We had an Awesome slam dunk by Nick! At a min and 52 seconds left we were tied 59- 59. Chan took the winning shot with a 3 PT LEAD!! So Close! CEU 64- Snow 63. It was fun and crazy!
After the game we went and relaxed and had dinner at a pizza/pasta place there in Ephriam with Chan's family! Here are a few pics!

Oh this is just me hanging with the baller girls trying to be cool ;) Me, Meag, Rachel, and Brandi

Okay so Chan might not appreciate this but I had to blog this!! I was trying to do a lil bit of Homework back at his house on Sunday and he had his legs laying across me and I thought I was funny to draw a lil flower on him. He didnt wrestle back with me to stop, he acted as though it was a bit ticklish. So I kept drawing, and drawing, and drawing. I know I am so mature but I was having so much fun...more so the fact that Chan did NOT care at all as he was watching his sports. I thought he was being so cute just to simply let me do this. I was having fun drawing lil pictures and writing my name! I eventually ran out of space and things to draw. It was fun helping him try to get it off! Its lil things like this that I love about Chan he is SO easy going, he lets me do my crazy things ;) My fiance is so dang sweet! I love you Chan!

On the Go!!

My mom and I took a drive up to Huntington and to go to Chan's games in Price this weekend. We got there a lil late on Fri night. On Sat. We went to Meagans game and then Chans against CSI (college of Southern Idaho). A great team they were, huge, and big athletic guys! Yet, another huge win! It was such a fun and intense game! WOW! Chan played very well! I am so in awww over his true hard work... He is so fun to watch! My mom had a blast as well! It was fun to see her too, get all into it... In the picture is Mariana (from Brazil, Chan's asst. coaches wife) My mom, me, Grandma, Meag and Kaylene right after the game was over!

Another pic of Mariana (we are sad she is going back to Brazil), my mom, and I waiting for Chan to come out of the Locker room one happy boy after beatin CSI by at least 20 pts!
Chandler and I at Pizza Hut after the game with everyone! Such a blast;)

Mmm... I dont know who needed it more..my mom and I from Warm St George or Chan after his game. We are whimps when it comes to the cold snowy weather. We had to get in the hot tub at Chan's. The poor guy beat his body up bad this game... He woke up sore sore sore and had to get some bones x-rayed from falling hard!

A full plate!

So I got this idea that since I am already a Master Esthetician, why not become more widely versatile across the board in the cosmotology industry? Great idea right? When married and we up and move to where ever we go I will be nationally licensed in esthetics and nails. So Im doing it all! Plus whats 3 months right? So starting Nail Tech apprenticing this wk has been different but fun. I work at a salon called Legends. Everything I am learning so far is exactly what I have been doing at spa's for mani's and pedi's for yrs now(nothing new learned yet). I have gotten MY nails done for the past 8 years of my life...thought it would be a piece of cake after watching all those yrs. Lets just say Its harder then I thought to shape acrylic! But I am doing fine and will be a pro soon real soon ;) I have many family members and friends that support me! I need to have a model EVERYDAY. Its been a success for finding models so far everyday and I am booked for all of this wk everyday too BUT... if anyone wants to let me work on them... by all means... please! ;) I am having a great time. I already know It will be a stressful 3 1/2 months of school/work/plannning wedding/traveling to games/flying to check out school offers of Chan's/etc. I can do it!

And the winner is.....

So....... the new NJCAA poll for the top 25 ranked schools in the nation came out for the DIV I Men's Basketball.......

and the results are.......

14. College of Eastern Utah!!!!!!!

They went from being ranked 19th to 14th. Standing still with 14-0 record. We are eager to see what will happen this weekend when they play North Idaho(ranked 16th) on FRI and then Southern Idaho(ranked 18th) on SAT!

Just a few..........

Here is just a simple "taste" of a few photos from 400+ pictures taken of us in Vegas in a matter of 4 hours! None of these are going on the actual announcement. These were just fun shots! Not too many of these I posted show our faces... We are working on the announcements (gotta love wedding planning;)), I hope they will turn out cute! We have so so many photos to choose from. Its been a tough choice, and it doesnt help that we are both our own worst critic!
This was the funcky entry way at The Venetician! I just LOVE any and all architecture, and/or Art. You can find a variety of it in Vegas! Sometimes too busy and sometimes not.
It was freezing outside... good thing we dont show are goose bumps ;)

Chandler's Bling Bling? Or my Bling Bling? Mmmm.... Chandlers!!!!!!! ;) Ah! LOve it!

One of my favorites of Chan.... So dang cute!!!

We really had a blast together!

Chandler and his Basketball team are on their way home right now from AZ. They just finished tonight playing a team ranked 14th ( AZ Western). CEU beat them by 20 points! Again, that makes CEU 14-0! Really amazing! Its gotta feel good to be their coach and to be a part of that team effort!

Here are just a few pictures of some past games this season at their home gym in Price, UT. of Chandler!

Phenomenol, CEU is Ranked!!!

Chandler is totally enjoying himself now playing basketball back at CEU! He loves his teammates and has a great time playing and contributing his amazing talent to the team. They are playing so well this season! Its exciting! They have played a total of thirteen games and has WON all of them! They are 13-0! Which has made them nationally ranked at 19th! Remarkable! The team is Down in Yuma, AZ. this weekend playing. It is so hard because I wish I could watch him play in every game and be there for him! Soon though, real soon we will be married so I can be there to support him and watch him play more! Chandler has been playing very well! He is getting a decent amount of playing time in each game and doing his best! He has made a known name for himself now as a great shooter on the team, other teams are working hard to keep on him. He will continue hard to stay open and shoot when he can!! ;) He sure works hard at his practices and goes strong! His Coaches love him and give him alot of leadership and credit of the team! Exactly what he deserves! I admire him for his athletic talent and his devotion to the game and his education! He is being recruited right now from a few different schools and Im sure, more to come! Chandler's interest right now is with UAA (University of Alaska Ancourage). The coach up there is doing a great job to build a personal relationship with him first and calls and checks in on him often. Chan and I most likely will fly to Alaska in April to check out the Campus and the offer in detail! At first I could only think about the cold cold weather and how far away it is, but I did some research and I found out some neat things about Ancourage and got ideas for jobs! It would be a great experience for us! I cant wait! I am excited to see where we could end up!

MORE STATS AND PICS TO COME!!!

Christmas with The Pearson's

Christmas morning we woke at about 9:30! Just perfect! We were all very spoiled! I was surprised how well taken care of I was! I felt so much at home! It could not have been better! Chandlers brother Kelly and his wife Geri, Meagan (chan's sister), he and I, and his parents there on Christmas morning to all open gifts! I got some things that I was surprised about! Chandler got me alot of clothes that I had wanted from Victoria Secret! I also got a new blow dryer(it was about time ;)), and some fun new lil house stuff! From Chan returning home from his mission within the past 7 months he just wanted clothes as well! I did my best job to just start a new waredrobe! The rest of his family came over that evening for a wonderful Christmas dinner! And the exchange of gifts! For most of the remaining of the Christmas break we played alot of Guitar Hero! It was fun!
One of Chandler's great friends from the mission returned home and spoke in SLC sunday. We took a quick drive to SL to listen to him speak, Followed by a brunch! Good times Good times! Chandler and I were so blessed to be able to be together solid for all of his Christmas break in the middle of his Basketball season! Now back to everyday life of work and school for he and I until the wedding!

Christmas Eve

Chandler and I came back to Utah to spend Christmas Eve and the rest of Christmas wknd with his parents! Christmas Eve actually really fun to have the snow falling non-stop in Huntington! It was definately a White Christmas! That night Chandlers Parents, His Sister Meagan, and the two of us bundled up cozy and warm and got into the car at 11pm to get some hot Chocolate and head up the Canyon. It is a tradition in his family to go Spot lighting for Elk and Deer. I learned ALOT this night about the different names, breed of the animal, breeding, shedding- time of yr, and hunting, etc. It was fun! I have never seen so many Does, Bucks, Cows, and Bulls like I had seen this night! It was really an awesome sight!! (Poor Chan's family to have to put up with me in the car and ALL my questions. Interesting stuff! There is a first time for everything. I never really knew "going spotting" existed) LOL! ;) I had a great time!

Visit to the Bay area

Chandler and I finally made it to Hollister a day late. But once we go there we had a great time! Juanette and her amazing cooking! We had a wonderful soup dinner prepared fr us when we arrived! The next day we took a drive over to Monterey to Fisherman's Warf for some yummy lunch and onto Caramel! Chandler has never been to any of this. It was fun to show him around. I love Monterey... We walked the beach in Caramel and it was GORGEOUS, and again, Fun to Show Chan. He loved seeing Pebble Beach!
Then the following day Chandler had never really seen Oakland or San Francisco So we took a drive to the temple. My dad is the ward Mission Leader for his ward so he had and investigator, her family and the missionaries come to the Oakland temple to the visitors center and to check out the lights around the temple!
