A lil surprise..

Well okay not really... On Saturday I told Chandler to dress a little cool because I'm taking him somewhere..it wasn't really a surprise but I didn't want to tell him either...I got work off and we went to the Kaneohe Bay Hawaii Airshow. IT WAS AWESOME!

Here is the Bay on the other side of the island from where we live (Marine Base)

This Jet was Chandler's Favorite...It was insane the things it could do. It was so loud I think it made me literally lose my hearing for a few minutes! It was breaking the speed of sound so it was like a loud bomb flying above us

Here are the BLUE ANGELS! Its amazing how close they fly together and all in sync
Courtesy to Elliot on this photo... The Blue angels are only 18 inches apart right here

Chans favorite one again...The sky was clear as clear the day but you could physically see the jet breaking thru the air and the air going around the wings

The pilots to the Blue angels. When there were flying we got to listen in to their conversation back and forth so they were all timing it right on and they sounded so chill and just like they were having a great time up there...Chandler said "ya they are up there just playing a round of golf together"

This was a cool Maneuver
This was Chan all day just in AWE... he loves this kind of stuff... We definitely got the goosebumps a few times when those planes are flying above you and you feel so none existent...

The MC had mentioned that this was an act of God right before our eyes..it sure felt like it because it was none Human feeling! HA! Such an amazing thing to watch!

This was just some gas they put on the runway to blow it up for entertainment! It was an Awesome day for sure! All experienced in Hawaii over the water- so Beautiful!

good memories

This is my friend Monica... We haven't seen each other since we were freshman in HS. We reconnected after 9 years? We met up for a bit the day before I left. It WAS SO good to see her and to catch up! Time sure does fly by....

We were best friends we did everything together, she knows all my dark secrets and my most embarrassing moments in life she witnessed! HA! It was fun to hang out again!

Random Flight!

I flew home to Honolulu on the redeye the other day...how crazy is this... I txted my Buddy Clint while in Utah in July just to say Hello and to see if Chan and I could meet up with him in Utah for lunch or something. Well it never worked out..but Clint did mention to me that he had to come to Hawaii (island of lanai) for work in the fall. Then I had just forgot about it and figured I wouldn't see him in Utah nor in HI becasue I never make it Lanai. Long story long.... CLINT AND I WERE ON THE SAME FLIGHT TO HI when I came home! He flew from SLC to Vegas and My parents and I were waiting for my flight in Vegas so we picked him up from his 4 hr layover at the airport and we were waiting for our flight to leave at 245am so we all went to dinner then my parents took us back to the airport. It was so funny and I just could not get over the fact that we were on the same flight! Being that there are at least 4 flights out of Vegas to Honolulu a day and how many days to chose from out of the month to fly and we were on the same flight. Even more crazy our seats were one in front of the other! We got people to switch so we could chat..and not have to sleep next to a stranger!
We landed at 6am on Oahu and Chandler was there to pick me up! So we took Clint on a little sight-see ride over the mountains and to our favorite restaurant for breakfast at Cinnamons! Then We took him back to the airport to fly to Lanai! What a Coincidence!

Look how gorgeous these mountains were at 7 am!

Then later that day OF COURSE I had to see Brea! We all went to the beach and had a great relaxing beach day!

Ive missed

our 7 YR OLDS! Obviously being home for a few months in UT. I missed out on teaching our class. Chan was left to do most of the teaching. When I got to Primary all the little girls were totally hugging me and hanging on me. It was heart warming to come back to the little ones and to know that they missed me ;)

Chan and I standing outside our church! Its hard to believe we have been here for a yr!

24 Years Old

Chandler couldn't be with me on my birthday so the day I got back to Hawaii we went to dinner and celebrated my 24th birthday together.. We went to this really nice Garlic restaurant that people have recommended to us. It was romantic! My birthday was on September 4th and I flew in on September 11th! He was so sweet..He had a cute card, roses, Balloons, and he even baked me one of my favorite cakes!

So nice to be home with my hubby ;) Thanks baby!

Enjoying the Islands again (Day 'n Night)

It really is so so so good to be back! I had an awesome time home and it was so hard to leave my family and friends but so great to come home to this and share it with my husband!

This is what Waikiki Beach looks like in the day where we go...
And this is what Waikiki Beach looks like when we decided to go sleep on the beach at night
Chandler got a wild hair and he talked me into going to the beach at night. It was so nice..We grabbed our pillows and blankets and went and cuddled on the beach! Waikiki beach is of course the busiest beach on Oahu but its the closest one to our apt so its so convenient. But its more like the out skirts of Waikiki. We didn't stay the whole night just a few hours until I couldn't sleep soundly and until I felt like I was one of the bums! HA! It was fun!

Back to Work in Hawaii!

So I was kinda dragging going back to work. It has just been nice to be on vacation back home in Ut that I wasnt ready for the day that I had to come back to work. BUT... I have a new fresh mind, fresh start, and a happy attitude! My boss calls me and asked if I wanted to do an OUTCALL job in Kailua. I had no idea what to expect but it was actually a BLAST! I didnt feel like I was working. So I drive to Kailua with a group of girls from work. We get to this house that was insanely nice... here is the front door...
You walk in through part of the house and the other half of the house is at the other end of the pool.
Right on Kailua/Lani Kai beach..stunning!
The massage girls set up the tables in the back yard..
So there was a group of 12 friends from LA that came out to Hawaii for the week and rented this beach house mansion. They were all in the film industry, fashion design or home design business. Just a whole bunch of rich people that could dispose their money... thats why I have a job! ;) They wanted spa services all day so we were the girls they called! I did many pedicures and manicure!
They had a personal chef, bar tender, and a few house attendants 24-7 for the week they are here.
They were such a fun group to work with for the day! Back at work isn't so bad in Hawaii on the beach and in an environment like this!
