Dave 'N Busters

So I would say this is picture OVERload but that's me on every blog post. I just love pictures if you haven't already noticed ;)

So Chan, 10 of the Bball players, and JUST I went to Dave and Busters here in Honolulu. It was pretty fun. Shane (one of Chan's newest best buds on the team) got a table and some free $25 dollar game cards for us. It was fun to finally meet most of Chan's team. They were so nice and respectful of me!

The boys going down the escalators!

Tried to get photos of everyone...Matt in the purple and grey from San Francisco, then Chris on the right from Australia!

Dom on the left from Australia, Kevin in the white from New York, Zac in the rainbow colors from Sacramento (SO sweet) Then Matt and Chris again on the right.

Stevo on the left from LA, Ryan in the middle from Laguna Beach, and DeJuan from Serbia on the right.

Chan, ME ;), and of course last but not LEAST Shane from Southern Cal...single..haha (hint....meag) jk

After dinner going UP to PLAY games!

This of course was a big hit! The team all watching everyone shoot hoops! I even got more baskets than Chris in one round!

We all got tons of tickets!!!! We are saving up to go back and get more so we can get a big prize!

Shane's tickets were getting heavy......

Going home now...
We had a great time Friday night! We are lucky to be here in Hawaii and we are grateful for it everyday! And most importantly that Chan has a good, and fun team. All the boys are very respectful, funny, and good guys! Its going to be a fun year for ball for sure!

Our first visitors ;)

Okay so maybe they didn't come to Hawaii just see and visit us- lol- but we like to think so;) Chandler's Uncle Sam came out to Kauai to get married! Kaye and Sam have tied the knot! They had their wedding on the island of Kauai then they came over to Oahu to stay a night and we got to spend some time with them. we took them on a lil ride around the windward side. Here Sam took a pic for us at this place we stopped to see a blowhole!
Here is the blowhole- I couldn't get that great of a picture!

SO HOW CRAZY is this... On a clear day off the coast of Oahu on the windward side you can see MAUI! That was so weird to me. Look directly in the center of the photo and on the ocean's line you can see a lil bit darker outline of Maui (it covers pretty much the span of my picture) Do you see it? The island of Maui is a lil bit wider on the left and as it goes to the right the island thins out...

We then went to Benihana's to eat Japanese. Its just like samurai 21 in Utah ... (which I think is better anyway) But the whole experience where they cook in front of you is so fun!

Kaye and Sam

Here we are at our table...

Our crazy chef! He was funny!

We had a great few days with them! We are happy they were here to visit us while they got married too!

Celine Dion

So here I have a picture of a close friend of mine(and my moms)- this is Bonnie Luke She is such an amazing women with a sweet heart who has been through a lot in her life. She lost her two sons that drowned in two different incidents that were years apart- She inspires herself thru music to cope-She has the best vibe about her! I just love her! Well She is an impersonator for Celine Dion. Celine Dion being one of my all time favorite singers- I enjoy watching Bonnie any chance I get.....
I think she looks a lot like Celine- Yeah?
So my mom called me the other day to tell me that Bonnie met a guy that lives in Hawaii while she was on vacation here in Honolulu a few months back and now she will be marrying this amazing man... Bonnie is moving to Hawaii!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited- She will leave St. George in Jan to settle here! I am so happy! We will be hanging out! She was here visiting Mark- her fiance so she invited us to Dinner Sunday night- and to see her perform at this restaurant on the shore!
(don't ask what my eyebrows are doing- they are tweekin out! ha) Isn't Chan so good looking!? So here we went!

Here is Mark and Bonnie- Such a great couple- two wonderful people!

This restaurant was cool- you order your entree and then cook it yourself on these huge grills! Here is Chan cookin his steak!

He so cute!!!
And here is Bonnie singing Celine's "Im Alive!"

Channy and I again at the dinner table! A great night! I am so happy that Bonnie is moving here! It will be fun to have someone I know to hang with! Mark and Bonnie are excited to come to some of Chan's games too! Mark is a very out doorsie kind of guy- a lot of hiking, golfing, snorkeling, sky dives, ocean diving, etc. so we plan on hopefully doing some fun activities with them.

Here is a (dark) video of Bonnie singing- You can kind of get an idea of her talent... the microphone sound wasn't the best because it was set up like Karaoke...Bonnie already has an agent here that was there that night and she will hook her up to more event here on the islands!

BIG 2-3!! Sept 4th 1986!

I had a wonderful 23rd birthday! It was different then being at home in Utah with family- but great to be with just Chan here in Hawaii! I woke up to him coming home from B-ball practice to a beautiful Hawaiian bouquet of roses and a new pair of high heels from my favorite store of WHITE house|BLACK market.

A super cute note from my love bird!
Here are my shoes!
Chan and I went and grabbed some lunch then he had to go back to school for a few hours-so I went for a drive to explore and see what more is on this island-we haven't had time to just drive....and that's what I wanted to do

I found this blow-hole and lil cove. People were laying out and snorkeling- from above here I saw three turtles it was neat...

I kept driving and found this beach called Sandy Beach- waves were HUGE! Alot of the locals were boogie boarding. I just laid there and was entertained! I talked on the phone to people who called to wish me a happy birthday (Dennis, Kaylene, My Dad, Then my Mom and Kenneth called me from Lake Powell, and Carol, Coby and mom, and Kenneth sang to me on the phone) It was good to talk to everyone!

Here I am driving up the windward side- beautiful! So much to do and see! Here is a lil island off the shore- pretty crazy!

Then that evening Chandler took me to PF Changs- It was yummy!
it was a great day and Chan took great care of me! We still want to try to have a day date activity when we are both off from school and work! We will see! Thank you everyone for your love and gifts!
