Simple Entertainment at Dinner

We went out to dinner at The Macaroni Grill- I have never been so entertained at dinner before by my waiter. Chase, Good guy- Hilarious guy! So somehow we got going back and forth with riddles. He would give us one and we would give him one. It was so funny to watch him serve his other tables and go back and forth shaking his head and really stop to think about these riddles.

I had to call Sierra (1am her time) to have her tell him a riddle. It was kinda a long one so I just had her tell him.

Here he is taking the riddle in little by little as she tells him- really thinking about it.

He is laughing trying to figure it out....
He would go back in the kitchen (which we could see through to) and ask all the cooks these riddles we would give him. We too, at our table were dumb founding with all his riddles... He told us if we can figure them out- he would buy us dessert. He did! It was yummy!

While we ate our Homemade brownie he had a lady come sing us a song. She had an AMAZING voice!


Here are a FEW riddles that were said back and forth from us to Chase as he waited on us that you can have fun reading too!

Riddle #1) 5 + 5 + 5 = 550 So with this one he told us we had to make this statement TRUE with ONE simple line and not making the line go thru the = sign to make it not be true... MAKE IT TRUE with ONE line or in other words MAYBE adding a 1 somewhere is what first came to mind for us

Ya we didnt get it he had to tell us...he put a little line on a + sign to make it a 4 so like this.....

Answer: 5 + 5 4 5 = 550 Crazy!

#2) 1 0 1 0 1 0
He told us to make this become 9 50 with ONE LINE

Anwser : 10 To 1o (like 10 min to 10 is 9:50)

#3) What travels around the world but STAYS in the corner?

Answer:
A postage stamp

#4) I asked him to figure out this scenario... or situation is this....

The man was afraid to go home because the man in the mask was there...

Answer:
Baseball! The man on one of the bases was afraid to run to HOME plate because he was afraid he would get out but the catcher in the mask!

#5) The lone ranger rode into town on Friday. He stayed 5 consecutive days and left town on Friday... How is this possible?

Answer:
His horses name was Friday!!!!!!!! He rode into town ON Friday

This is what we did all through dinner with our waiter, Chase... It was funny because alot of other people were involved and laughing. Cooks in the back, other waiters, and Sierra on the phone. We were txting CHaCHa too, to send us some riddles so we could trick Chase back. He was GOOD to figure out most of ours. I guess most of Macaroni Grill workers love riddles they were all loaded up with things to stump us! I guess you gotta laugh with your co-workers when you cook food all night ;) We had a great time!
